This is a new ministry in the Music Ministry of Westoak Woods. We are very excited about the future of this group. They will be playing periodically in our worship services as well as in the community for different projects. Plans are for them to play in malls, prisons, nursing homes and other places of service as they become available.
The Adult Handbell Choir is by audition or invitation only. Due to the limited number of ringers in a handbell choir, only a certain number of players can be in each choir.
However, there are plans to begin new handbell choirs in the near future. Plans include beginning more Adult Handbell Choirs, as well as choirs for youth and children.
We own 4 octaves of Malmark handbells. They are beautiful and are used to the glory of God.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
Praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
Praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
Praise him with the harp and lyre,
Praise him with tambourine and dancing,
Praise him with the strings and flute,
Praise him with the clash of cymbals,
Praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
