Adult Life Groups

Each adult who becomes an active active and vital part of the life and ministry of Westoak Woods must first be assimilated into the family of Westoak Woods Baptist Church. Adult Life Groups provide an opportunity for adults of all ages to be placed and connected into our church family. Adult Life Groups offer a small group (usually 15-40 people) Bible study wherein adults get to know each other sufficiently enough to create both opportunities and desire for ministry and service. The assimilation that occurs in and through our Life Groups helps ready our church for expressing God's love to each other and to the communities of which Westoak Woods is a part. Consider these objectives of our Life Groups Ministry:

   • Provide transformational Bible teaching for adults.
     Becoming Christ-like is the goal of Bible learning and the key to living life to the fullest
   • Witness to persons about Christ.
     Sharing the love of God as expressed in Jesus Christ is a joy
   • Minister to persons in need
     As adults get to know each other better, we become more aware of how we can serve and
     minister to each other.
   • Reach adults for Bible Study
     Our Adult Life Groups welcome everyone. You need not be a church member to participate in
     our Life Groups.
   • Lead members to worship
     Our Life Groups seek to share God's Word in such a way that the worship of God is a heartfelt
     response.
   • Support the work of the church and cooperative missions endeavors
     The ministry and love we have for one another is also focused on those outside the
     immediate Westoak Woods family.

In the links to the left, you will find information about our current Adult Life Groups. Westoak Woods also offers Life Groups for Students and G-Force for elementary school age children.
