Charre Smith

Charre is a native Texan who has always been a part of a minister’s family. Growing up as an Educational Minister’s daughter helped her develop a love for Christ and His church. She graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a certification in Early Childhood. After teaching several years in the public school system, she conducted chapel services and taught some Fine Arts classes in some preschools. Charre currently serves as Children’s Ministry Director and Children’s Choir Coordinator. She also teaches piano, voice and flute in Westoak Woods’ School of Music. She enjoys developing curriculum for both school and church settings.

After graduation from college, Charre became the wife of a music minister, Phillip Smith. They have two sons, Brent and Barrett who keep them smiling and very busy. They enjoy singing and laughing together.
